PSNA’s first article discussion club kicks off in October 2019. Registrants must sign up by October 17 to participate in session 1. PSNA will email articles to registrants approximately 1-week prior to the conference call. Participants will join our Monday calls (7:15 – 8:15 pm) to discuss the topic.
Weekly attendance is not required — the number of sessions you join is up to you. Weekly contact hours will differ depending on the article’s size, number of questions, and difficulty level. A minimum of 1.0 contact hours can be achieved. Full participation equals 11.75 contact hours.
Successful completion of a session includes reading the assigned article, answering discussion questions, emailing answers to the facilitator, and participating on the conference call. At the end of the series (mid-November), participants will be awarded contact hours for those sessions in which they’ve completed a course summary and evaluation. Once all sessions have ended, participants will receive one certificate with the total number of hours earned based on participation.
None of the planning committee members or call presenters have declared any conflict of interest related to this event.
This series addresses various topics in nursing. Learners can apply their new knowledge to their own practice.
Calls will allow participants to review their answers and discuss issues related to nursing practice today.
